We are absolutely delighted to announce that our new charity of the year for 2025/2026 is Impact Initiatives!
Impact Initiatives was founded in 1978, to resolve issues communities were facing at the time. Since then, they have grown and developed extensively to ensure they respond to the needs of Sussex communities and individuals today. They are dedicated to being inclusive and empowering for children, young people, adults and older people alike.
VISION: To empower people of all identities, cultures, and ages in Sussex to achieve their full potential while living healthy, fulfilling, and meaningful lives.
MISSION: To support individuals and communities in Sussex to live healthy, fulfilling, and happy lives. This is achieved by offering the appropriate support at the right time and by collaborating to design and deliver the services that best meet their needs.
CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE: Giving children and young people safe places where they can get the support they need to thrive, gain skills, meet others, have some fun and positively move on in their lives.
ADULTS & OLDER PEOPLE: Giving adults and older people the support they need to find employment, have their voices heard or to find a place to go for good food and company, a focus to the week and keep happy and healthy.
