A Remarkable Ceremony for a Remarkable Woman
Deirdre passed away peacefully on Saturday July 24, at the Royal Sussex County Hospital following a long period of ill health. Her husband Roger, daughters Amanda and Victoria and grandchildren Jessica, Mark and Ben were blessed with the very best wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed but remembered always for her love, wisdom, laughter and that very special sense of humour. The celebration of Deirdre's life will take place on Thursday, August 5, at 11.15 a.m. at the Downs Crematorium, Bear Road, Brighton, BN2 3PL (NB entrance off Bear Road). The family ask that no money be spent on flowers but voluntary donations in Deirdre's memory may be made to The Martlets Hospice, Hove, one of her favourite charities, c/o Bungard & Sons.
